Configuring Notifications

Preston allows you to receive notifications directly to your email. These notifications will allow you to receive immediate alerts about coverage that mentions your company. You can also receive weekly news digests for stories that are relevant to your expertise and you may want to comment on. 

You can also receive alerts regarding competitor coverage. 

To configure notifications, go to “Settings.” 

Click on “Brand and Competitor Coverage” near the top of your screen. Under my company, ensure that the name of your company and your main spokesperson and/or CEO are included. 

Next, choose “Notification Settings” at the top of the screen. 

Simply check the boxes to decide what notifications you want. You can also set the day and time of the week in which you want to receive your news digest. 

Note that you should ignore the buttons “Send Coverage Alert,” “Send Weekly Alert,” and “Send Competitor Alert.” These are for developer testing purposes only.
