How Do I Target By Geography?

We have been listening to our users and are now allowing you to target campaigns by geography. 

Here’s how to do that. When you’re at the second stage of creating a campaign, which is selecting journalists to pitch, you can choose to filter the list of journalists the platform offers you to choose from. 

1. Click Filter & Refine. 
2. Scroll down to Locations. This covers the actual areas the journalists are located in if that is known to the platform. 

3. From the dropdown menu, select the location you want to limit the results to. 
4. Alternatively, if you want to choose journalists based on the areas they cover, which may not be the same as the areas they are located in, scroll down to Geo Focus. 

5. From the dropdown menu, choose between Local, National, and Multinational. 
6. For National or Local, choose a country from the dropdown menu below Geo Focus. 

7. For Local, choose the Country and State, or for the highest level of targeting, choose Country, State, and City of coverage. Now you will only see journalists that cover the specific locale you have chosen.
